Visto is the leading provider of mobile messaging solutions to mobile operators for the broadest set of mobile device platforms.
We developed a highly scalable and robust e-commerce and e-business solution for Visto's messaging service for handheld devices. The solution has a scalable server-farm architecture and provides for encrypted storage of credit cards in an internal database behind a firewall. The system has a SOAP based secure server authentication and integrates with existing Oracle databases for service subscriptions and billing. The solution also included an admin from where Visto staff can add product/service information, process orders, view customer information, respond to customer requests and create a wide variety of reports.
