We developed an intranet application for Poppy card management and representatives to manage their business processes. It starts with the Individual and Group entities and shows how the various spin-off entities fit into their business model to ultimately produce a Marketing Campaign or a Fund Raising Campaign. A Marketing Campaign is a program tailored to meet the needs of a Client, while a Fund Raising Campaign is a program tailored to meet the needs of a Community Group. The application stores and streamlines various processes and work flows.
The application includes details for Individuals, Groups, Marketing Directors, Fund Raising Directors, Sales Agents and Clients. The clients and community groups constitute entities in the campaigns and are combined to form a poppy card campaign. The site facilitates the display and inline editing of all data. There is a feature to generate and a print poppy card as a PDF document for distribution purposes. The site features extensive use of data grid manipulation and iframes for easy content display and retrieval. The site has capabilities for paging, sorting and searching.
