Visto is the leading provider of mobile messaging solutions to mobile operators for the broadest set of mobile device platforms.

The purpose of the project to provide a secure, robust and efficient Credit Card Processing and Billing system for Visto’s WIB Mobile Access Platform. Infoscaler developed the new application on existing components of the MessageXpress site that we had earlier developed for Visto. The application consists of a scalable and secure architecture, a user-friendly e-commerce site including trial signup, a site administration interface, a CSR interface, a recurring billing system and a reporting interface.

The E-commerce Site provides an efficient and secure online channel for customers to obtain relevant service/subscription information, signup for a trial account, create a new WIB account and purchase/update service subscriptions. Customers are also able to make changes to their billing information on file and view past transactions.

The site administration system consists of a service/site management interface with which Visto staff is able to add/modify services, subscriptions and taxes.

The Customer Support Representative interface allows Visto CSRs to view any customer’s billing information, status and transaction history. It also allows them to update a customer’s credit card information on file and make notes about the customer’s account.

The recurring billing system is an application that runs every night and will send out emails to customers whose trial subscription is expiring and to customers who are up for renewal. The system automatically charges credit cards for those customers who choose the auto-renewal option.

The reporting interface will allow Visto staff to view and print reports on customers, transactions, service revenue and failed transactions.
