Mectronic
This system was developed for Mectronic, Inc a global manufacturer of electronic
connectors and sockets headquartered in San Jose, California.
The solution included advanced but easy-to-use search functionality allowing users
to conduct Part number, PO, keyword, and description search. The search feature
produces results from where users can view catalogs, descriptions, inventory etc.
for individual part numbers, and can add part numbers to their RFQ cart.
We also built an order tracking system with real-time integration to their internal
systems to provide accurate status on orders. This utility collected data from the
different shipping carriers like FEDEX, UPS, EMERY, and DHL to provide accurate status.
This entire e-business solution is based on a well architected integration solution
enabling data transfer from intranet to the web server. Our solution ensures that the
data transfer processes is extremely robust and efficient. Data is updated automatically
at a periodic interval of time, thereby saving valuable staff resources and keeping the
site current at all times.
