CheapLimoRates.com is an online travel portal and marketplace for Leisure/Business Travelers in the Limousine industry and provides extensive tools for Limousine operators.

They engaged us to build a custom travel portal which would form the backbone of the planned limo marketplace and support operations by providing an interactive site with social networking, targeted content and online booking features; a Back-office Administration Portal; and Supplier Administration Portal.

We developed a Web 2.0 based portal platform for CheapLimoRates.com. The platform leverages Microsoft.NET and DotNetNuke frameworks with an SQL Server database to provide the following main functionality:

• The industry's only full featured web-portal which contains tools from registering suppliers/travel agents/affiliates, online profile management, configurable quote engine, online bookings, social networking components, inventory management, call center operations, SMS reminders and online accounting.
• Intuitive E-Commerce Web Portal (B2C and B2B) with extensive use of AJAX to provide spontaneous feedback to customers for improved user experience and usability.
• Supplier Catalog and e-commerce system with AJAX enabled interface to browse/search packages and buy online.
• Auto suggestion of destination addresses, similar to Google, which displays airports and addresses as the user types into a box.
• Search vehicles based on vehicle types, location and service types from the pool of vehicles offered by all suppliers.
• Realtime, automatic quote generation based on several parameters and business rules which taken into account road distances, vehicle configurations and supplier service settings.
