BD Biosciences, one of the world's largest businesses serving the life sciences, provides research tools and reagents to study life - from normal processes to disease states - and accelerate the pace of biomedical discovery.
We designed an interactive, database driven web site for BD Biosciences that assists scientists in choosing RNAi kits. The site has a decision tree based navigation structure with dropdowns to enable users to access different areas of the site seamlessly. The site has an interactive shopping cart that adds products to the cart to enable users to create unique Product Lists.
Users can request additional information and quotes through a request for quote form.
The site has several Flash animations that provide an interactive demo of the different processes. It gives users a high-level overview of complex processes like Vector-based Gene Silencing, Retroviral Mediated shRNA Delivery etc.
The site has a complete back-end content management system to enable BD's employees to modify content, add/modify product information, View and respond to Quote requests, View customer information and create customizable reports.
